The arrival fallacy is the illusion that joy lies at a destination ahead. It costs you nothing to be grateful and content with the position you are in life, right now.
This doesn’t mean forget your goals and aspirations, but it does mean you need to stop tying your faith in a happier life to the outcomes of achieving these goals.
